Work from Home Scheme Launched by State Govt; The Rajasthan government on Saturday launched a work-from-home scheme for women in government ministries and commercial businesses in an effort to empower the women employees in the state.
“During the last budget, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the availability of work from home. The Janadhar card is required for the working women employees to register on this site, and the department or businesses will then determine the appropriate level of pay or salary for them.
According to the latest information from the state administration, the Rajasthan government would provide financial help to the companies that will hire 20% of women.The Rajasthani government has set aside Rs 100 crore for the work-from-home programme with a goal of hiring 20,000 women in the next six months. Over 150 women and 9 businesses have signed up for the programme so far.
