Check the Latest News From Government: The central government will offer Dearness Allowance (DA) along with salary to their employees and pensions. This DA is allocated to employees to adjust their cost of living in this inflating economy. For the last 18 months, the DA is paused due to the covid-19 pandemic. Now the government has made an announcement regarding the DA arrear.
According to the report, the government has no plans to give the 18 months paused DA arrear to the employees. The DA has been paused to use that amount for the covid-19 pandemic development programs. Many central government employees have demanded to release of the paused DA but the government has no plans to give the paused DA to the central government employees and pensioners.
According to the source, it is anticipated that the government planned to hike the DA by 4 percent. As of now, the DA for central government employees is 38%. This hike news is expected to be released soon. The report also said that the government will set up an 8th pay commission in 2024 and this will be implemented in 2026. The employees are eagerly waiting for the announcement regarding the DA hike from the official sector.
