WhatsApp, one of the leading messengers among the apps platform has been testing a new update to their application. This update will be called “Push Name within the Chat List”. In this update, the company wants to mention the names of the unknown contact number who has messaged in the group chat, instead of showing their number.
With these updates, users can able to easily identify unknown contacts that have messaged in the group chat. As of now, the number only will be displayed on the chat. In this update, WhatsApp plans to switch the number to names. This update is under testing by IOS beta testers, company plans to release this update soon to IOS users. Once the testing is over this update will be released to all IOS users.
