WB CM Forms Expert Committee – 72hrs To Make Decision about 10th&12th Exam

An Expert Committee formed by West Bengal Chief Minister – 72 Hours Given to make decisions about the conduct of 12th Board Exam and MadhyamikWest Bengal Chief Minster Mamata Banerjee previously announced that they are going to conduct the 12th board examination and Madhyamik examination. Mamata said that the examination date will be announced on 02.06.2021. But the exam date hasn’t released today, other than WB CM created a expert committee to make decision about the conduct of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations

On 02.06.2021 WB Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations scheduled supposed to be released. But the State Government postponed that Exam date announcement and created an expert group to analyse the conduct of the Board Examination. The 12th exam date will be announced any time by that expert group. On 01.06.2021 Central Government has postponed the CBSE 12th Board examination. This postponed news created a huge impact on all the students. So, WB also considering to conduct the board examination.

West Bengal Created a Board including top board officials such as President of West Bengal Board of Secondary Examination (WBBSE) Kalyanmoy Ganguly, Chairperson of West Bengal Commission for the Protection of Child Rights Ananya Chakraborty and President of West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Examination (WBCHSE) Mohua Das. The Board also take ideas from Doctors working in Covid-19 Duty,Child Psychologists and members of different NGOs who works with children and teenagers.

There were around 12th lakhs students were going to participate in this board examination.WB CM gave 72 hours to make decision to conduct the board examination. The expert committee will discuss about possibility of conduct on examination, what mode of examination is best for students to protect them from infection. The committee also discuss about the how to evaluate marks if the board examination was conducted. The official news will be released after 72 hours. The 12th board examination date is expected to be released in that 72 hours.

Previously Mamata Banerjee said that the examination is scheduled to conduct on second week of August and last week of July in only mode. The examination is conducted for 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours. The examination will conduct for 15 compulsory subjects and 37 additional subjects. But now these decisions were changed. The new decision will be made by the expert committee. The official announcement will be made in 72 hours.
