Lockdown Extended for WB till June 15 with some Relaxation – West Bengal Chief Minster Made Important Announcement to Control Covid-19 Spread – The Corona Infection rate keep on increasing in India. The death rate reaching new heights daily simultaneously country economy also getting damaged due to this curfew. To control this situation West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Extended the Lockdown up to June 15 with some relaxation. In West Bengal Corona infection rate started to drop. Initially over 19500 people were affected for corona virus on daily basis. But after imposed lock down the infection rate was dropped by 16225 people per day. Because of that West Bengal CM announced that “No full curfew has been imposed in Bengal, but the lock down extended with some relaxation for up to June 15”. Let’s see what are the relaxation given by West Bengal CM.
West Bengal is the major Jute growing state in India. Jute farmers from Punjab keep on requesting to WB CM to give some relaxation to Jute production and all other Jute related products. So, Mamata Banerjee gave some relaxation for Jute production. The Jute production will work as normal. And Construction workers can also start their work if all the workers were vaccinated and stayed in one place. “Some restrictions have been put in place to combat the epidemic,” Mamata Said.
Mamata Banerjee also stated that we needed to take care of states economy with out collapsing. So the Markets, bakeries, textile, jewellery stores and showrooms will be opened in this lockdown but only in scheduled time. All the online services will be continued as before, Mamata said.
