West Bengal Higher Secondary Exam Cancelled 2021 10th & 12th – WB HS Uchcha Madhyamik Pariksha: West Bengal government has cancelled the Class10 and Class 12th examination. CM Mamata Banerjee said in a press conference that the West Bengal Madhyamik Class 10 and Uchha Madhyamik Class 12 board exams for 2021 have been cancelled. COVID vs 12th Exam:

Due to the rise in the daily cases of Covid-19 in different parts of the country, many state governments have put various restrictions to curb the spread of the virus. Considering the scenario of restricted movement and keeping the focus on the safety of the candidates, many boards have cancelled the 12th board exams. This was initiated by CBSE. Followed by the board various state governments and union territories have taken the decision to cancel the 12th final exam.

Experts Opinion:

The students, who are studying 12th class, were preparing for their final exams through online mode. Some students have no facility to studying through online. They were struggling to study themselves. Some students have lost their closed ones in the COVID battle. So, many education experts and medical experts are advised the officials to cancel the exams.

People’s Opinion:

In, West Bengal the state government has also considered with the public about the exams. On June 6, the state government sent out three email addresses to the public, asking for feedback on whether or not exams should be held. The people voted 79 percent against performing the Class 10 Madhyamik board examinations in 2021, and 83 percent voted against the Uchha Madhyamik Class 12 board examinations, according to the official statement.

“Many students face problems if no exams are conducted as well. Good students use the marks from board exams to decide their future,” the CM of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee said to the media. The CM also urging the officials who are in the committee to make the procedure to assess the 12th students to take decisions making sure that students do not face any problems.
