Candidates must have a minimum of 4 (four) years of experience in teaching, science, administration, or business, with at least 2 years of experience as a Lecturer in an Engineering/Technological College or Polytechnic. There is an age limit for candidates. On January 1, 2021, you must be under the age of 36, with the exception of those who hold a substantive appointment with the West Bengal government.
The salary offered for the above-mentioned role is Rs.15, 600/-– Rs.42, 000/-(P.B.–4A) + Rs.5, 400/- Grade Pay (UNREVISED). The required “requisite credentials” are the absolute minimum; mere possession of them does not entitle applicants to an interview. When there are a large number of applications received in response to an advertisement and it is not practicable for the Commission to interview all of them, the Commission may restrict the number of candidates called for interview to a fair number based on either higher qualifications/higher marks/grades obtained in the necessary qualifications or experience in the relevant field. For all categories of vacancies in each level of review, i.e. P.S.T. and interview, the Commission can set qualifying cut-off marks.
