WBP SI Recruitment 2019 Released – Apply Online Link Open. for West Bengal Police Sub Inspector Posts. West Bengal Police Recruitment Board(WBPRB) has released Notification for the SI Posts. Applications are invited from eligible male Indian citizens having following eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch) and Sub-Inspector (Armed Branch) in West Bengal Police – 2019.
WB Police SI Recruitment 2019 Details :
Application Forms may be submitted through on-line or off-line modes during the period from 10.08.2019 to 09.09.2019 (5 PM). The last date of receipt of filled-in Application Form through postal services (for off-line applicants) is 09.09.2019 (5 PM). The last date of deposit of Application and/or Processing Fees in respect of only the applicants applying through on-line using United Bank of India challan will be 12.09.2019 during banking hours, due to technical reasons.

WB Police SI Age Limit :
The applicant must not be less than 20 (twenty) years old and must not be more than 27 (twenty-seven) years old as on 01/01/2019. The Upper-age limit shall be relaxed by 05 (five) years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) and by 03 (three) years for the candidates belonging to the category of Other Backward Classes (OBC).
WBP SI Educational Qualification:
The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. & The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali Language.
West Bengal Police SI Salary Details :
the Pay Scale Rs. 7,100 – 37,600/- (i.e. Pay Band-3) + Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/- plus other admissible allowances
West Bengal SI Recruitment Process :
The posts of Sub-Inspector (UB) and Sub-Inspector (AB) in the West Bengal Police shall be filled up on basis of qualifying the Preliminary Examination which will act as screening examination followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination and Personality Test to be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.

West Bengal Police Recruitment Board extends the facilities of both the on-line and off-line submission of applications. How to Apply
On-line submission: Applicants will be able to submit an application using the website wbpolice.gov.in by filling up their information and uploading of scanned photograph and signature. Applicants are advised to follow the procedure properly for applying online.
Off-Line Submission: The off-line Application Form must be downloaded using the website policewb.gov.in through any available Cyber Café or Personal Computer with internet connectivity. Before downloading the application form, the applicant has to click for the post he wishes to apply for.
