WBJEEB JELET Notification 2021 Details:
About WBJEE:
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or the WBJEE is a state-government controlled centralised test, conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to many private and governmental engineering institutions in West Bengal. The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation (also known as Bachelors) courses. The exam can be taken by those who studied Pure Science and Vocational 10+2 stream in plus two level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
- There is no age limit for Diploma holders in engineering /Pharmacy/ Technology. For B.Sc candidates the upper age limit is 27 years as on December 31, 2021 and Diploma in Marine Engineering is 25 years.
- The Educational qualification for applying is a diploma in engineering/ pharmacy/ technology in any branch must secured45% marks from any polytechnic institute/ Pharmacy institute recognized by AICTE. For admission to Jadavpur University, candidates should have obtained 60% aggregate (45% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the concerned branch from AICTE approved institute or university
- Candidates holding B.Sc. degree in any branch, must have secured B.Sc. degree with 45% marks from UGC recognized University. Also, candidates must have passed Class XII with mathematics as a subject. BSc holder candidates are not eligible for admission to Pharmacy course and are also not eligible for admission to Jadavpur University.
