WB Board aims to hold the Uchha Madhyamik, 12th Exam twice a year in 2022!! West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has begun the process of evaluating the HS exam papers. “The evaluation procedure will take a month to complete, and the results are expected in June,” the official said.

From 2023, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will conduct the UcchaMadhyamik, or Class 12 board exam, twice a year. The decision will be made during the board meeting on Friday, May 6 in the presence of Education Minister BratyaBasu, according to a board official. “A committee was formed to review the HS test curriculum in order to maintain equivalence with CBSE, ISC, and other boards. The UcchaMadhyamik exam was completed on April 27 this year, and the board has begun the process of evaluating the HS exam papers. “The evaluation procedure will take a month to complete, and the results are expected in June,” the official said.

The Higher Secondary test, which began on April 2, attracted almost 8 lakh students. Last year, on July 22, the HS results were released, with a pass rate of 97 percent. The HS test certified 99.28 percent of Science students and 99.8 percent of Commerce pupils. WBCHSE evaluated WB Result Class 12 using a 40:60 formula.

For Science and Arts, 40% of the weightage would be given to the best of four topics in the West Bengal Madhyamik exam, and 60% to the annual Class 11 theoretical test and Class 12 practical’s or projects.

Students can view the HS result on the official websites, wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.nic.in, as well as in our portal, after it is issued. Students can also check their 12th result by sending an SMS to 56070, 5676750, or 56263. To access WB results on a mobile phone, type WB12 space> registration number and send it to 56070, 5676750, or 56263.

Candidates can attend the WB UchhaMadhyamik, 12th Exam whenever they want and if they are unable to attend the first examination they get another chance to attend it. WB board has announced to conduct the examination twice in a year.
