WB SET Notification 2019 Released on Official Website. The West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) has released Notification for State Eligibility Test for the posts of Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of West Bengal only. Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates. Candidates can apply through Online from 02.09.2019 to 30.09.2019. Aspirants can check the WB SET Notification 2019 in our blog.
WBCSC SET Exam Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit for applying for SET. However, for the purpose of recruitment, the relevant Government Order will be applicable.
WB SET Eligibility Criteria 2019:
Eligibility for Assistant Professor Only will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of SET in aggregate. Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the Universities/Colleges of West Bengal.
West Bengal SET Education Qualification:
- Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree (OR) equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for this Test.
- Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.
WBCSC SET Selection Process:
Selection will be based on Written Examination. WB SET Will be held on 19.01.2020.
WB SET Exam Fees:
- For General Category: Rs. 1000/-
- For Other Backward Classes (Noncreamy layer)/EWS: Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ST/PWD/Transgender : Rs.250/-
