WB Police Recruitment 2020 Name of the Post & Vacancy:
Software Developer (PHP) – Total No of Post: 02 (Two) for West Bengal Police Directorate.
Software Developer (.NET) – Total No of Post: 01 (one) for West Bengal Police Directorate.
WB Police Recruitment 2020 Educational Qualification:
1st Class MCA or 1st Class M.SC in IT / Computer Science or, 1st Class BE / B Tech in Computer science with skill in Software Design, Development, Documentation & Implementation support.
Experience on PHP, NodeJS, Mongo DB & postGreSQL is desirable.
WB Police Recruitment 2020 Remuneration:
Rs. 27000.00 (Rupees twenty seven thousand) and enhancement of Rs 1000.00 (One thousand) only per year subject to their satisfactory performance, attendance etc.

- Interested candidates must send email detailed resume in the specified format (available on www.wbpolice.gov.in) to [email protected] along with:
- Recent Passport Size Photograph
- Scanned signature
- Scanned image of the following documents:
- Copy of certificate/ mark sheet of educational
- Copy of Birth certificate/ Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent as age
- A copy of document as a proof for residential address (preferably Aadhar card)
- After screening of the applications, eligible candidates would be intimated in due course for attending the written question paper containing MCQs which will be set and evaluated by the NIC / C-DAC / IT department member. The qualifying marks may be fixed by the committee depending on the vacancies to be filled and other The candidates qualified after the written examination may be called for practical test if required.
The qualifying candidate shall be called for an interview before the selection board for assessment. The interview shall have a maximum of 15 /o weight age in the total assessment. A panel of selected candidates in the order of merit shall be prepared which will be valid for six months from the last date of interview. However, appointment shall be issued only in the order of merit.
4. The candidates shortlisted for Interview will be intimated by E-mail only.
- The engagement of the Software Developer will be on contractual basis. The terms and conditions of the engagement will be as per Government
6.Last Date of Application is 07/04/2020.
No TA/DA shall be given while attending the test/interview.
