Vande Bharatam Dance Competition Finals Will Be Held In New Delhi On 19th December!! Earlier the Union Ministry Cabinet of Culture declared the origination of an all-India dance competition named as ‘Vande Bharatam’ which will play the vital role in 75-week grand celebration to mark 75 years of India’s independence. Vande Bharatam will become the great dance competition of India which is launched by India’s current prime minister.

The main goal-set of this dance competition is to find out the top dancing talent from overall India and offer them the chance to give their perform during the cultural program at the upcoming Republic Day parade of next year 2022 which will be take place at India gate in New Delhi on January 26, 2022. 73 groups comprising 949 dancers from all 4 zones have qualified for the Grand Finale. 480 dancers to be shortlisted as winners to perform at Republic Day 2022 programme in New Delhi.
The ‘Vande Bharatam’ dance competition being got started from 17th November 2021 for the district level. First of all this competition was held at the district level, then the district winners compete to get state winner after that the state winners give their performance at the zonal level and the zonal winners will give their performance in its finals in front the Indian President Mr. Ram Nath Govind.

The Finals for this grant dance competition will be held in New Delhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Auditorium on 19th of December. This competition allows the participants to give their dance performance in four categories such as classical, folk, tribal, fusion or contemporary. There is more than 200 group containing 2400 dancers take part in this great competition. Out of this only 73 group containing 949 dancers will be giving perform at the final stage. And finally 480 dancers from 949 from all four sectors will be selected as winners to participate at the final performance in India gate.
