UP 12th Board Exams 2021 Canceled by CM Yogi. On 01.06.2021 the Central Government of India had decided to cancel the CBSE Examination 2021. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth and Dy CM Dinesh Sharma welcomed the decision to Cancellation of the CBSE Examination 2021 and Deputy Chief Minister of UP Dinesh Sharma said that “they would be conducting a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the second week of July”. The decision, he said, would be taken in accordance with the evolving covid situation and accordingly decide on holding or cancelling the exams.
“A detailed discussion will be held on this subject after meeting the Chief Minister whether there should be an examination or not,” Dy CM quoted. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma, who is handling the Secondary Education Department, said on Tuesday that soon a decision will be taken regarding the class 12th examination of the State Board of Secondary Education.
Chief Minister of UP Yogi Adityanth tweeted that, “Respected Prime Minister, in view of the Covid transition, it has been decided to cancel the CBSE 12th Board Examination. This decision is an important step towards the health security of students across the country. Heartfelt thanks to the Prime Minister on behalf of all the students and parents. Due to this, it is expected that the intermediate examinations of UP Board may also be cancelled.”
After the CBSE, the other central board, CISCE, also decided to cancel the Class 12 board examinations this year because of the COVID-19 situation.
The Uttar Pradesh government on May 29 decided to cancel the Class 10 examinations of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) scheduled for the year 2021.
