UPCET 2021 Syllabus PDF – Download UPSEE Exam Pattern. NTA has renamed UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) as UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) in an official announcement on March 25.  The Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 as computer based test. So; Interested Candidates can download Syllabus and Exam Pattern from our website.

UPSEE 2021 Examination Details:

Mode of Exam: UPSEE 2021 will be conducted in online and offline mode depending on the papers.

  • Offline Mode- Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be conducted via the offline mode. Aspirants will be required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet.
  • Online Mode- Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10 and Paper 11 will be conducted in the offline mode i.e. it will be a computer-based test.

Medium of the exam: The question papers of undergraduate courses and MBA (Integrated) and MCA (Integrated) courses will be bi-lingual both in English and Hindi. In case of any ambiguity, the English version shall be considered as final.

Language: The test paper will be available in English and Hindi language. It will not be provided in any other language and any request to do so shall not be entertained.

Type of Question: The exam will have objective type questions. All the questions will be in the form of MCQs. Each question will have 4 alternative options suggested as answers, out of which the applicant must choose one that seems the most appropriate answer.

Applicants must have a clear idea about the marking scheme to help them decide how to attempt the questions in the entrance test. There will be no change in the marking scheme of UPSEE 2021. It should be noted that although there is no negative marking.

PAPER – 6 (APTITUDE TEST FOR MBA/ MCA)

The test is aimed at evaluating the verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logical & abstract reasoning and knowledge of current affairs. The following is a brief description of the contents of the test paper.

Section A (English Language): Grammar, vocabulary, uncommon words, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, the relationship between words & phrases and comprehension of passages.

Section B (Numerical Aptitude): Numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra, geometry and trigonometry, Interpretation of graphs, charts and tables.

Section C (Thinking and Decision Making): Creative thinking, unfamiliar relationships, verbal reasoning, finding patterns trends and Assessment of figures & diagrams.
