Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in this regards it also released notification for Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). 82 vacancies are offered for Assistant Commandants (Group A) posts in UPSC. UPSC SSB Recruitment 2022 | UPSC SSB Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2022:
No.11/2/2021-E.1(B): The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on07th August, 2022 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed PoliceForces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), CentralIndustrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB). The Examination will be held in accordance with the Rules for the published by Ministry ofHome Affairs in the Gazette of India dated 20th April, 2022. The date of holding the examination asmentioned above is liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission.
Totally 253 vacancies are offered for various departments and the for SSB only 82 were offered.
The tentative Examination number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is asfollows:
- BSF 66
- CRPF 29
- CISF 62
- ITBP 14
- SSB 82
- Total 253
The number of vacancies mentioned above is liable to alteration.Reservation will be given effect to as per policy of the Govt. 10% of the vacancies are earmarked for ex-servicemen.
NOTE: In case the vacancy(ies) reserved for Ex-servicemen remain unfilled due to nonavailability ofeligible or qualified candidates, the same shall be filled by candidates from non-ex-servicemen category. For more details click on the link below.
