Candidate’s age limit for Senior Instructor is 35 years, for Deputy Director is 50 years, for Scientist is 35 to 40 years, for Junior Scientific Officer is 30 years, and Labour Enforcement Officer age limit is 30 years is mandatory. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidate’s upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
Education Qualification and Required Experience
Senior Instructor
Candidate should have M.Sc. in Marine Biology or Zoology orFisheries Science or equivalent from a recognized University. Threeyears experience of teaching Marine Biology, Zoology or Fishery Science in Government orSemi Government or Autonomous or other reputed Institutions and desirable with Doctorate inMarine Biology or Zoology or Fisheries Science.
Deputy Director
Masters Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science orM. Tech (with specialization in Computer Applications) or BE/B. Tech in InformationTechnology or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from arecognized University or Institute OR BE/B.Tech in Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognizedUniversity or Institute with Thirteen years experience of electronic data processing or computeroriented optimization information or Statistical System
Scientist ‘B’ (Forensic DNA)
Masterdegree in Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Zoology or Human Genetics having Botany orZoology as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from arecognised University; or Master Degree in Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology as oneof the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognised Universityor institute OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology fromrecognised University or institute with Three years experience of analyticalmethods and research therein in the field of Forensic DNA from a government recognisedorganization or institution.
Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry)
Master’s Degree in Chemistry from arecognised University or Institute and Three years experience in the field of Chemistry is needed.
Scientist ‘B’ (Geo-physics)
Master’s Degree in Geo-physics froma recognised University or Institute with Three years experience in the field of Geo-physics is needed.
Scientist ‘B’ (Geology)
Master’s Degree in Geology from arecognised University or Institute with Three years experience in the field of Geology is needed.
Junior Scientific Officer (Explosives)
Masters Degree in Chemistry orAssociateship diploma of the Institution of Chemist by examination or Forensic Science withChemistry as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognised University with Three years experience inresearch and analytical work in the field of Explosives in any central and state organization orrecognised institute or university or forensic science laboratories under Central Governmentand State Government.
Labour Enforcement Officer
Degree inany discipline with Commerce or Economics or Sociology or Social Work as one of thesubjects from a recognized University or Institute; (ii) Diploma in Law or Labour Relations orLabour Welfare or Labour Laws or Industrial Relations or Sociology or Commerce or SocialWork or Welfare Business Administration or Personnel Management from a recognizedUniversity or Institute.
