UPSC Recruitment 2022 Eligibility criteria

UPSC Eligibility 2022 Age limit

Candidate’s age limit for Senior Administrative Officer and Assistant Employment Officer is 35 years, Sub-Regional Employment Officer is 30 years, and Assistant Professor (Ayurveda) age limit is 45 years to 50 years is mandatory. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidate’s upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.

Education Qualification and Required Experience

Senior Administrative Officer

Candidate should have Degree of a recognized university and should have three years’ experience of administration, establishment and accounts work is needed. Diploma inPersonnel Management or Industrial Relation from a recognized Institution, Workingexperience in Scientific or Industrial or Technical organization or Departments is needed.

For Assistant Employment Officer

Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Commerce or SocialWelfare or Social Work or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Education of a recognizeduniversity or equivalent. Two years’ experience of Socio-economicInvestigation or Research preferably in relation to demography employment and unemployment or manpower problems and Knowledge of employment service work is needed. Experienceof employment exchange operations is preferred.

For Sub-Regional Employment Officer

Candidate should have Master’s Degreein Social Welfare or Social Work or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce orEducation of a recognized University or equivalent. Three years’experience of Socio-Economic Investigation or Research preferably in relation to demography,employment and unemployment or manpower problems. (ii) Knowledge of Employment Servicework. Experience of employment exchange operations is preferred.

For Assistant Professor

Candidate should have Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a Universityestablished by law or statutory board/faculty/examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970. A Post Graduate Degreein the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central CouncilAct 1970. Reading, Writing and Speakingknowledge of Sanskrit is needed.

UPSC Recruitment 2022 Selection process

Candidates are shortlisted based on Interview. Candidates shortlisted for interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications submitted by them will be required to send self attested copies of documents/relevant certificates

The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether theselection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will beUR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks ofinterview being 100.

UPSC Application Fee 2022

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any Community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
