- Candidate should have Masters degree in Zoology or M.F.Sc or M.Sc in Marine Biology or M.Sc in Industrial Fisherises is mandatory for Fisheries Research Investigation officer. For Principal Officer (Engineering) cum Joint Director General (Technical) candidate should complete Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer or equivalent is needed.
- Candidates are shortlisted based on Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an Interview. Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary for the post is based on pay scale of Level 7,10,14 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC, General Central Services Group “A” Gazetted.
