UPSC Eligibility 2022 Age limit
Candidate’s age limit for Assistant Chemist, Assistant Geophysicist is 30 years, Assistant Director is 40 years, Senior Scientific Officer, Sub Divisional Engineer is 35 years, and Senior Lecturer is 50 yearsis mandatory. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidate’s upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
Education Qualification and Required Experience
Assistant Chemist
Candidate should have Master’s Degree in anybranch of Chemistry OR Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from arecognized University/ Institution OR Degree or Diploma conferred by the Associate Institute ofChemist (India) in Chemistry.
Assistant Geophysicist
Candidate should have Master’s Degreein Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute;or BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.

Assistant Director
Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Botany or Zoology orBiochemistry or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science orPhysical Anthropology or Genetics form a recognized University or Institute and Bachelor’sDegree with Botany or Zoology as one of the subject from a recognized University or Institute.Five years’ experience of Analytical/Research work in Forensic Science is needed.
Senior Scientific Officer
Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Chemistry orToxicology or Biochemistry or Forensic Science from a recognized University or Institute andBachelor’s Degree with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized University orInstitute and Three years Analytical/Research work in Forensic Science.
Senior Lecturer
Candidate should have a basic University or equivalentqualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. M.D.(Forensic Medicine) from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent and Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduatequalification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a RecognizedMedical College/ Teaching Institution.
Sub Divisional Engineer
Candidate should have Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute is needed to apply.

UPSC Application Fee 2022
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any Community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
