UPSC Recruitment 2022 Eligibility criteria
UPSC Eligibility 2022 Age limit
Candidate’s age limit for Aeronautical Officer is 35 years, for Professor is 50 years, for Assistant Professor is 35 years, and for Engineer & Ship Surveyor is 50 years is mandatory. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidate’s upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
Education Qualification and Required Experience
Aeronautical Officer
Candidate should have Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical orMetallurgical Engineering from a recognized University with Two yearsexperience in aircraft design and development including aircraft electrical or electronics ormechanical systems or airworthiness engineering.
Professor
Candidate should have Master Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from arecognized University or institute. (ii) Master in Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institution. (iii) Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology froma recognized University or Institution with Ten years teaching and researchexperience in Clinical Psychology out of which at least five years teaching experience shouldbe as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institution.
Assistant Professor
Candidate should have Master Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from arecognized University or institute. M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from a recognizedUniversity or Institute. Three years teaching or research experience asClinical Psychologist in a Psychiatric Hospital, Psychiatric Clinic, Child Guidance Clinic orDepartment of Psychiatry in a General Hospital.
Engineer & Ship Surveyor
Candidate should have Certificate of Competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam or Motor or CombinedSteam and Motor) as specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act.1958 with Five years serviceat sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
UPSC Recruitment 2022 Selection process
Candidates are shortlisted based on Interview. Candidates shortlisted for interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications submitted by them will be required to send self attested copies of documents/relevant certificates.
The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether theselection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will beUR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks ofinterview being 100.
UPSC Application Fee 2022
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any Community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
