UPSC Recruitment 2021 Eligibility criteria
UPSC Eligibility 2021 Age limit
Candidate’s age limit for Junior Technical Officer, Principal is 35 years, and for other posts age limit is 30 years is mandatory. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidate’s upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
Education Qualification and Required Experience
Assistant Engineer: Candidate should have Degree in Engineering in the disciplines of Electrical/Electronic engineering from a recognized university is mandatory.
For Civil Hydrographic Officer: Candidate should have Degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology or Master Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Pass in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in sub-division1 is needed.
For Junior Technical Officer: Candidate should have Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Communication or Marine or Naval Architecture or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
For Principal: Candidate should have Degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Masters Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Pass in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in sub-division1(B) Hydrographic surveying is mandatory.
For Assistant Survey Officer: Candidate should have : Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or B.Tech degree in Civil or Mining Engineering from a recognized University is mandatory.
For Store Officer: Candidate should have Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; or Degree in Science with two years experience in Materials Management (procurement, maintenance of scientific and technical stores and equipments and inventory control) is needed.
UPSC Recruitment 2021 Selection process
Candidates are shortlisted based on Interview. Candidates shortlisted for interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications submitted by them will be required to send self attested copies of documents/relevant certificates
UPSC Application Fee 2021
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any Community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
