UPSC Age Limit   

  • For Professor post the upper age limit is 53 years.
  • Associate Professor upper age limit is 50 years.
  • Assistant Professor upper age limit is 35 years.
  • Candidate’s age should not exceed 30 years for Joint Assistant Director post.
  • For Deputy Director of Employment and Senior Assistant Controller of Mines the upper age limit is 40 years.

UPSC Eligibility Criteria

Professor: Candidates should have completed Master’s Degree from recognized University. Candidates who completed PhD or equivalent will be preferred.

Joint Assistant Director: Candidate should have completed B.Tech or B.E. or B.Sc. in related field from recognized University. Applicants who have Three years’ experience in Radio Communication or Computer Communication or Satellite Communication or related will be preferred.

Deputy Director of Employment: Candidate should have completed Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Commerce or Psychology or in related field. Applicant needed to have minimum 5 years of work experience in related field.

Senior Assistant Controller of Mines: Candidate should have completed Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University. Applicant needed to have minimum 5 years of work experience in related field.

UPSC Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and called for Interview. UPSC may conduct Recruitment TEST (RT) at the time of selection process.
