UPSC IFS Vacancy
As per UPSC 2021 notification, around 110 vacancies offered for IFS post. This year almost same number of vacancies is expected for Indian Forest Service examination 2022.
UPSC IFS Eligibility Criteria 2021
UPSC IFS Age Limit
Candidate’s age should between 21 years to 32 years to apply for UPSC IFS examination. Age relaxation will be given as per Government norms.
UPSC IFS Educational Qualification
Candidate should have completed Bachelor’s degree in any one of the listed subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from recognized University.
UPSC IFS Exam Fee
As per 2021 notification, General candidates should have to pay Rs. 100 as application fee. Female Candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD category need not to pay application fee.

UPSC IFS 2022 Exam Date
UPSC IFS preliminary examination will be conducted on 05.06.2022. UPSC IFS selection process contains 2 stages.
Stage 1: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type). Based on the merit list of marks obtained in preliminary exam candidates will get shortlisted for mains examination.
Stage 2: Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, which comprises Written Exam followed by Interview.
