Earlier the Reserve Bank of India has some feedback from their stakeholders on the possibility of imposing a tiered charge on UPI transaction. That information brings unhappiness in the people’s mind. Now by avoid all such sad things the Ministry of Finance under our Indian Government officially twitted like the government will not charge for the UPI transaction in their official Twitter page.
The Tweet of the Ministry reads, “UPI is a digital public good with immense convenience for the public & productivity gains for the economy. There is no consideration in Govt to levy any charges for UPI services.
