According to reports, the Class 10 paper will have 30% multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and pupils will be given optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets.From next year, 2023, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will include multiple-choice (MCQ) questions in the Madhyamik, Class 10 exams. According to reports, 30% of the questions in the Class 10 paper will be multiple-choice (MCQ), and pupils will be given optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets. “Thirty percent of all questions in examinations will be MCQ types, and students will be issued with OMR papers to answer them,” UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla said. This structure was utilised in Class 9 exams, and it will be used in Class 10 exams as well starting next year.”

From 2025, the Uttar Pradesh Board may use the MCQ format in the Class 12 exam. According to the official, the board is also creating an internship programme for Class 9 and 11 pupils, which will help them become more familiar with the employment market. On Wednesday, the decision was made at a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Meanwhile, practical tests for Uttar Pradesh’s 10th and 12th grades are underway, with results expected on April 27 and May 4, respectively. The 10th and 12th practical exams will be held in two phases: in the first, in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Mirzapur, Devipatan, and Basti zones, and in the second, in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Azamgarh, and Gorakhpur zones.

The Uttar Pradesh Board will begin the review process for the 10th and 12th exams, which were previously completed on April 13. The results of the Class 10, 12, and 13 exams will be released in May. Follow our site for more updates regarding this.
