UNDP Job Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidates apply for the job must have Completed Bachelor’s degree (Minimum).
• The candidates with Master’s Degree (in public administration, public policy, political or social science, international studies or related field) are Preferable.
• The Applicant with Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in editing, writing, and proofreading are required.
• The Candidates with Experience in publication/report writing, editing for a UN agency and Experience in professional editing are needed.
• Must have Outstanding command of written and spoken English is required

UNDP Job Skills Required:

• Must have excellent writing and editing/reviewing skills
• Should demonstrate strong written communication, research and analytical ability to rapidly integrate information
• Have Knowledgeable of current UNDP activities and established brand guidelines
• Needed Technical skills in production, editing, and ability to write quickly, clearly and concisely in English
• Have Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and respond to all communications from IEO

UNDP Job Roles and Responsibilities:

The Selected candidates will have to perform the Following Duties:

• Have to Provide editing and proofreading services for materials ranging from complex publications to substantive technical documents
• Must Perform up to six rounds of substantive editing of IEO reports.
• Should edit according to the UNDP and UN editorial style manuals.
• Have to provide technical writing if requested/required for some sections/paragraphs to improve the readability of reports.
