UGC Age Limit for Vice President
Candidates whose age is less than 62 years will be preferred for the post of Vice-Chairman of UGC.
UGC Eligibility Criteria
Eminent person with sustainable experience in academics, governance and/or with outstanding professional management and having prestige for this position can be nominated be peers.
UGC Selection Process
Nominees will get shortlisted based on qualification and experience and called for Personal Interaction with Committee. The Search cum Selection Committee can also invite suitable eminence candidate outside the nomination list for Personal Interaction.
UGC Chairman Appointment Period
Selected candidate for the post of Vice Chairman in UGC will be appointed for the term of 3 years or till attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
