Cyclone Jawad: UGC-NET exam postponed in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh – Revised Datasheet to be released later. National Testing Agency has postponed its UGC-NET scheduled for 05.12.2021 in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, and also the board has decided to postpone the entrance exam for MBA of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in all 3 states. The new examination date for the above mentioned examinations is available very soon on their Official site. Candidates are advised to refer the Official site simultaneously for knowing the availability of the New Exam date. As per the NTA, it would upload a revised datasheet for rescheduled examination later.
As per the timetable of UGC-NET, the examination is scheduled to be held for the subjects — Education, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Russian, Electronic Science and Social Medicine and Community Health on December 3 and Assamese and Bodo on December 4, 2021.
The NTA, in its notification, said, “Due to red alert issued in the states of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh for cyclone Jawad for December 4, 2021, UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 examination to be held on December 5, 2021, has been rescheduled.”
“The date of the exam for candidates who are admitted to exam centres in the above-mentioned cities will be announced later,” NTA said.
MBA entrance postponed in three states
The National Testing Agency has also decided to postpone the MBA (IB) 2022-24 admission test of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal, where Cyclone Jawad is likely to have the maximum impact. The tests were supposed to take place on December 5th.

The exams in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, and Cuttack (Odisha), and Kolkata and Durgapur (West Bengal) have been postponed (West Bengal).
