Key Changes Introduced, From Hindu Studies to Application Fee Reduction in UGC NET 2022!!!!

UGC NET 2022: Key Changes Introduced, From Hindu Studies to Application Fee Reduction!!National Eligibility Test is the examination for determining the eligibility for the post of assistant professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities and colleges. The examination is conducted by National Testing Agency on behalf of University Grants Commission. This year notification released on 30 April, 2022. All the candidates are applying now. It is noted that some modification brought by the board this year in Exam application fee, centres, Objection fee and so on. Below are the details given regarding this.

It’s worth noting that the NTA’s annual information bulletin has undergone substantial changes this year. The application cost, number of subjects, exam centres, and answer key challenge fees are all affected by these changes.

Modification made by the UGC Board in the official Notification this Year:

The UGC NET 2022 exam will be held in 541 locations across the country. The number of UGC NET exam centres in 2022 has increased over the previous year, when the exam was taken in 239 sites. In the statement, the NTA also included a complete list of exam centre cities.

The NTA releases the preliminary UGC NET answer key 2022, together with the marked answers and question paper, shortly after the exam to allow applicants to file objections. Candidates had earlier disputed the tentative answer key for each task for Rs 1,000. Every challenge will now cost Rs 200.

For the merged cycles of December 2021 and June 2022, the NTA has increased the UGC NET application price. The application fee has gone up by about 10%. The general category or unreserved category application fee has increased by Rs 100 to Rs 1,100, up from Rs 1,000 last year. Meanwhile, the charge for EWS and OBC-NCL has been raised by Rs 50, bringing the total fee to Rs 550 for this year. Finally, the application price for SC, ST, PWD, and transgender people has been raised by Rs 25 to Rs 275.

So far, the UGC NET exam has been held in 81 topics. However, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has added a new subject to the UGC NET 2022 examination. According to the information bulletin, the UGC has added a new subject to the list: ‘Hindu Studies’ (Subject code 102). When filling out the UGC NET application form, candidates can now choose from a list of 82 disciplines.

UGC NET 2022 Exam Details:

The exam application deadline is May 20. The Computer Based Test (CBT) format will be used for the December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) of the UGC NET. It will be held in two shifts for 180 minutes or three hours. The first is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the second is from 3 to 6 p.m. In the objective type question style, paper I will have 100 marks and paper II will have 200 marks. It is necessary to attempt all questions. Each question is worth two points. Only English and Hindi will be used in the exam.
