The University Grants Commission reveals a draft National Higher Educational Qualification Framework which is a part of the National Education Policy 2020 on Monday. This announcement was made in the public domain. To assess the students in various levels the UGC board released a draft National Higher Educational Qualification Framework – NHEQF.

The board has listed the range of learning outcomes; the list starts from job readiness to entrepreneurship mindset, understanding of ethical and constitutional values to application of knowledge. The UGC boards look for the ideas from different stakeholders by February 13. The NHEQF has made particular parameters of assessments for students in higher education organization and divided it in levels 5 to 10, as per the draft frame work.

The school education is covered by level 1 to 4. Based on the students assessed at every level the draft framework has outlined several learning level “descriptors” or parameters. Generic learning outcomes, constitutional, ethical, and moral values, employment ready skills, entrepreneurship mindset, and application of knowledge and skills among others are the parameters which is the organization made.
