Candidates must have completed Matric/Std. X and hold an NCVT [National Council for Vocational Training] ITI Examination certificate in the relevant trade. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 25 as of October 29, 2021. Relaxation of upper age limits by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC [NCL] applicants, as per government norms. Candidates who have previously completed or are currently completing Apprenticeship training under the Apprentice Act of 1961 in any government, public sector, or private industrial organization are ineligible to apply for this enrolment.

The minimum monthly stipend payable to apprentices [Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992] must be followed. Candidates will be chosen on the basis of merit, which will be determined by the percentage of marks received in I T I in their respective trades. The candidate contacted for certificate verification or travelling to the training location will not be provided with a TA/DA or lodging.
