TVS Recruitment 2022 Position Description:

For Lead Data Scientist:

• Over 7+ years of Applied Machine learning experience in the field of computer vision with experience in image segmentation, object detection, re-identification, semantic and instance segmentation, key point detection and object tracking algorithms
• Applied experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning on Large Datasets
• Strong hands on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch
• Familiarity with image and computer vision-related libraries such as Tesseract, OpenCV, PIL, Dlib
• Hands on experience in model building, validation, and productionizing

For Senior Principle Data Engineer:

• Design, build and deploy a scalable Cloud agnostic data ingestion architecture and pipelines to process both Stream and Batch Data using open-source tools and technologies.
• Experience in creating and deploying complete ETL pipeline for both on[1]Premise and on-Cloud platform from scratch.
• Responsible for Ingesting data from a variety of data sources like csv’s / pdf’s / docs / storage containers, streams and databases, process it to get meaningful insights.
• Develop programs in Python notebooks / .py files & SQL as part of data extraction, cleaning, transformation and processing.
• Rest API’s development for sharing data.

Primary Responsibilities:

For Lead Data Scientist:

• Expert Python Programmer, strong hold on SQL, extremely proficient with the SciPy stack (e.g. numpy, pandas, sci-kit learn, matplotlib)
• Proficient in Cloud Technologies and Service (Azure Databricks, ADF, DatabricksMLflow)
• A demonstrated ability to mentor junior data scientists and proven experience in collaborative work environments with external customers
• Proficient in communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Have 4+ years leading and / or collaborating with small to midsized teams
• Experienced in ML lifecycle mgmt. and ML Ops tools & frameworks

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding & familiarity with most used Azure Services & Big data Ecosystem components.
• In depth knowledge and understanding of Apache Kafka to handle streaming data.
• In depth knowledge and hands on experience of Azure Data bricks / pyspark, Spark streaming and its various core components.
• Design and develop data ingestion programs to process large data sets in Batch mode using python, Databricks and pyspark.
• Strong understanding of underlying Azure Architectural concepts and distributed computing paradigms.
