TS EDCET Notification 2021 PDF Out – Check Exam Date, Eligibility, and Registration Fee Details | Apply Online Begins. Osmania University, Hyderabad conducts the Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET 2021) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into B.Ed. (Two years) Regular Course. Applications will be accepted online from April 19, 2021 to June 15, 2021 the convener said.

About TS EDCET:

• Telangana Education Common Entrance Test (B.Ed) – TS EdCET is an Entrance test for candidates to get admission in 2 years B.Ed courses.
• In many states of India, it is a pre-requisite for candidates to qualify the Entrance test in order to join for the admissions in Telangana Universities/Colleges.

Introduction:

A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test through Computer Based Test -2021 [TS Ed.CET-2021(CBT)] will be conducted by the CONVENER, TS Ed.CET-2021, Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into B.Ed.(Two years)Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana for the academic year 2021-2022.

Eligibility Criteria To Appear For Ed.CET 2021:

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET-2021 (CBT) for admission into 2-year B.Ed Course.

• The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
• The candidate should satisfy ‘local’ / ‘non- local’ Status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should have passed or appeared for qualifying examination

• In any Bachelors Degree i.e. B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B.A (Oriental Languages), BBA or in the Masters Degree, securing at least 50% aggregate marks.
• Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto
• However, for candidates belonging to the reserved categories Viz., SC/ ST/ BC and Physically Challenged categories should have secured 40% Marks in the qualifying examination.

For the Choice of Subjects:

Mathematics: BCA applicants with Mathematics at an intermediate level as a group subject or Candidate with BA/B.Sc/BE/B.Tech with mathematics as one of the subjects.

Physical Sciences: BCA applicants with Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) at intermediate level as group subject Applicants with B.Sc/B.E/B.Tech who have studied Physics and Chemistry or Allied Material Sciences as one of the subjects.

Biological Sciences: BCA applicants with Biological Sciences at intermediate level as group subject or Applicants with B.Sc/B.Sc (Home Sci) studied Botany and Zoology or Allied Life Sciences under Part-II group subjects.

Social Studies: BCA applicants with Social Sciences at intermediate level as group subject and all applicants with BA/B.Com/BBM.

English: Applicants with MA English or BA Special English/BA English literature.

Age Limit:

The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

TS EDCET 2021 Application Fees 2021:

Applications should be submitted through ONLINE mode only. The Registration fee for online submission and late fee, if applicable, may be paid at TS Online /AP Online Centers and also through payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking).

• Online Application Fee: Rs. 650/- and Rs. 450/- in case of SC/ST/PH Candidates.

• With a Late fee of Rs. 250/- : 25-06-2021
