Selection list for TNUSRB 969 Sub-Inspector cancelled – High Court Case: The High Court has ordered the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Personnel Selection Board (TNUSRB) to cancel the direct selection list of 969 Tamil Nadu Sub-Inspector.
Trichy 1st Battalion Constable S. Cholapupathirajah filed a petition in the Chennai High Court following the direct appointment of 969 people as pro-investigators in Tamil Nadu. ‘I function as a secondary guard in Trichy,’ the petition said. On March 8, 2019, the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Personnel Selection Board announced the direct appointment of 969 Sub-Inspector in Tamil Nadu.
A total of 20% of the 969 positions were set aside for police officers. Those that have served in the police force for five years are eligible to apply for the position of Sub-Inspector. I applied for the position of Sub-Inspector based on this qualification. There was a written exam, a physical health test, and an interview, and I received 74 out of 100.
The following NSS certification received a 0.50 rating. The general group, which includes MBC and TNC, had a cut-off score of 74.50. I expected to be hired as a Sub-Inspector because my NSS certificate will give me a score of 0.50 in this role. On April 15, a list of candidates for the position of Sub-Inspector was issued.
That list does not include my name. As a result, I’ll have to cancel the appointment list and send you the job order. The action for the appointment should be suspended until then. I should also be told to set up a Sub-Inspector office.’ Hearing the petition, Judge Krishnakumar ordered the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Personnel Selection Board to reply and adjourned the hearing for four weeks.
