TNSTC Plans To Recruit More Drivers and Conductors – Says Transport Minister: In Tamil Nadu, the State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has planned to recruit more drivers and conductors to make the transport department more efficient. Regarding this state transport minister Mr. S.S.Sivasankar on Friday stated that this recruitment will begin in a few months with a proper announcement of notification.
This was announced by him during a gathering at Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Erode to inaugurate the retiring rooms for TNSTC employees and he also gave 145.58 crore to the retired and diseased employees. He also states that the state CM also permitted the recruitment drive for the Kumbakonam Corporation transport unit and State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) for the recruitment of drivers and conductors.

After that, the recruitment drive will be carried out for other corporations. This is a piece of happy news for the aspirants who have eagerly waited for the recruitment in the transport department. The state government has released the funds to procure 2000 new buses and it will be done within 4 to 6 months says Minister.
