Tamil Nadu Public Service commission (TNPSC) has released Notification for 175 Vacancies. Applications are invited from eligible candidates only through online for Direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Director of Horticulture and Horticultural Officer included in the Tamil Nadu Horticultural Service. Candidates can apply through online from 25-10-2018 to 21-11-2018.

Pay Scale:
- Assistant Director of Horticulture- Rs. 56100 – 177500
- Horticultural Officer – Rs. 37700-119500
Age Limit: Candidates should have completed 18 years of age as on 01.07.2018 and Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all categories] has NO upper age limit.
For Others: 18 – 30 years as on 01.07.2018.
Educational Qualification:
For the post of Assistant Director of Horticulture: Candidates Must possess a Degree in M.Sc. (Horticulture)
For the post of Horticultural Officer: Candidates Must possess a Degree in B.Sc./B.Tech (Horticulture)
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the written examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
