TNPSC Action – Group 4, General English Dismissal in New Curriculum for VAO Post. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is conducting competitive examinations to fill vacancies in government services in Tamil Nadu. In this situation, with the formation of the DMK government under the leadership of Chief Minister MK Stalin, steps were taken to give importance to Tamils and Tamils in competitive elections. That is, the Government of Tamil Nadu declared that the Tamil language is compulsory in the examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu Civil Service Selection Board.
Accordingly, a revised new syllabus for Group 4, VAO examination has been released. According to the new syllabus, English has been removed and there are only two sections, Tamil and General Knowledge. Part 1 contains the Tamil language paper. Questions will be asked in the 10th class. A total of 150 marks will be awarded for 100 questions. Part 2 covers general knowledge.

Part Two covers general knowledge. In this 100 questions will be asked and 150 marks will be given. So a total of 200 questions are asked and 300 marks are awarded. The course covers general science, current affairs, geography, Indian history and culture, Indian politics, Indian economy, Indian national movement, history of Tamil Nadu, culture, heritage and socio-political movements, and development administration in Tamil Nadu. It is noteworthy that TNPSC had earlier published the general syllabus and sample question paper for the Tamil Qualification Examination.
