The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts various level examinations to fill various vacancies in Tamil Nadu. In it, Group 2 examinations are conducted for various posts including the Registrar, Revenue Department Assistant, Labour Assistant Analyst and the junior employment officer.
You have to go through three levels to get job in the Group 2 exam. Preliminary Exam , Mains Exam and interview. If they succeed in all three, they will be given government jobs. To take this exam candidate should have a Degree. There will be questions in Tamil and English. We can choose the language of our choice.
Recently there have been changes to the Group 2 Examination. This means that the General knowledge Questions have been increased to replace the language paper (Tamil and English). A case has been filed against this and to conduct the exam in the old syllabus. The TNPSC has ordered by the High Court branch to take action against it.
