TNMGRMU Reschedules PG Medical Examination 2021!!!
The Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University has released the notification about the Postponement of PG Medical Examination due to the difficulties caused by the Second wave of COVID-19 in our Country. Considering the rising number of Corona cases, the exams were postponed.
The examination process involves several measures including printing of answer scripts, movement and transport of answer scripts, checking and printing of question papers and steps taken during the conduct of written and practical examinations, like invigilation, CCTV operations, paper distribution, patient examination and others. Movement of examiners from and to the examination centres also will have to be considered. The post-conduct activities will involve transport of completed answer-scripts and evaluation procedures. All the aforementioned measures and steps may involve physical contact, transport and density of those involved in the field. So, Reducing the Stress of the situation the university plans to reschedule the examination.
In light of the recent increase in the number of COVID Positive Cases and current situation in the country, and its load on the health systems of the entire State, the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University has decided (after detailed discussion with all those concerned) to reschedule the Medical Post-graduate Degree/Diploma examinations which have originally been scheduled to commence on 17.05.2021.
The Examination has been postponed until further notice released by the University. In addition, most of the hospitals across the State of Tamil Nadu (both Govt. and private sectors) are involved in COVID Management. The resurgent COVID wave requires focused involvement of the health sector. This is an emergency situation where all other routine and regular activities may be rescheduled in an effort to save lives. The Revised Exam Date will be announced soon by the officials. In addition, most of the hospitals across the State of Tamil Nadu (both Govt. and private sectors) are involved in COVID Management. The resurgent COVID wave requires focused involvement of the health sector.
This is an emergency situation where all other routine and regular activities may be rescheduled in an effort to save lives. The University also wishes to offer its wholehearted support and co-operation to all the COVID warriors. The rescheduled dates will be announced later.
