TNEB TANGEDCO Assistant Engineer Exam Date 2021 Postponed Latest New Updates, New Date to be Decided Later!!!. Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) – Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd (TANGEDCO) has postponed the Assistant Engineer exam due to ongoing COVID19 pandemic situation. Earlier the board has planned to conduct the exam on 24th, 25th April 2021, 1st, 2nd May 2021. But now it is postponed.
“Direct Recruitment -the exam dates scheduled for the post of Assistant Engineer/Electrical, Mechanical and Civil and Junior Assistant/Accounts between 24.04.2021 to 16.05.2021 has been postponed due to surge in COVID cases and the tentative exam dates will be intimated later.”
New Dates will be informed to the candidates later. Earlier the exam conducting authorities have planned to schedule the exam from 24.04.2021 to 02.05.2021. So that the candidates were waiting to download admit card eagerly. In this situation, the TNEB has subsequently postponed the exam in a view of emerging coronavirus cases.
TANGEDCO announced 600 Vacancies to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer on January 8 last year. But these recruitment processes have not been done due to Corona. The board has announced that the date for the online written test will be announced later
