TNEB – Vacancies of Tamil Nadu Electricity Generating and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) under the control of the Electricity Board are being filled through competitive examinations. It has been announced that there will be a total of 1000+ vacancies for the posts of Assistant Engineer, Junior Assistant and Accountant by the year 2020. Thousands of eligible candidates from all over Tamil Nadu applied for these competitive examinations and prepared for the examination.
But those works have been put on hold due to the corona general freeze that followed. Due to this, the candidates for these posts have not been selected yet. Tamil Nadu Power Minister Senthil Balaji has recently announced that 5000+ vacancies will be filled and the date for the examination and other posts are expected to be announced soon.
