TN SET Exam 2021 Notification Released by Annamalai University for Assistant Professorship – Age Limit, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern and Online Application Link Given – Annamalai University has released Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test Notification for Assistant Professor. Interested Candidates can apply for TN-SET for up to 07.07.2021. This year the eligibility test was going to be conducted for 26 subjects. TNSET Age Limit

There is no upper limit to apply for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test for Assistant professor. Candidates who fulfil the educational qualification can apply.

TNSET Exam Qualification

• Candidates who secured minimum 55% in Post-Graduation in given 26 disciplines can apply for this examination.
• 5% relaxation in minimum marks will be given for SC, ST, OBC, PwD candidates.
• PhD candidate’s who got masters degree before 19.09.1991 will get relaxation in marks from 55% to 50%.
• Candidates who are pursing master degree or candidates who attended the final examination in master’s degree and waiting for the result can also apply for this eligibility test.
• Candidates who get PG Diploma from Indian or Foreign University should ascertain the equivalence of their Degree or Diploma with Master’s Degree of Indian University from AIU before applying for this examination.

TNSET Exam Pattern 2021

The examination will be conducted in 2 Sessions. The Examination will be conducted as per Multiple choice Question Mode (MCQs). Applicant should have to appear Both the examination. No negative marks will be awarded.

• First Session contains 50 Questions. Each question carries 2 marks, all compulsory questions. The examination timing is one hour for general candidates and 1hrs20min for PwD candidates.
• The session contains 100 compulsory questions. Each questions carrier 2 marks the examination timing is 2 Hours for general candidates and 2hrs40mins for PwD candidates.

TNSET Application Fee

Fee should be paid through Net banking or with Debit/Credit cards. Any other mode such as DD or IPO or Money order will be rejected.

TN SET Exam 2021 Instructions

• Candidate should have to carry Hall Ticket along with the valid Photo ID card to the examination.
• The hall ticket will be released after the application can completed.
• Exam centre details and timing is mentioned in the admit card.
• Candidates should reach the exam centre before 8.30 am the gate will be closed at 9.00am.
• Candidates have to inform the invigilator if there is any misprint, missing pages in the question paper within 5 minutes before the exam starts for replacement.

Declaration of Result Procedure for TN SET 2021?

• Candidates belong to general category should have to secure aggregated marks of 40% in both papers to qualify. Candidates belong to SC / SCA / ST / PwD/ Transgender should have to secure 35% marks to qualification.
• The Number of candidates to be qualified for the eligibility for Assistant professor will be equal to 6% of total candidates who appeared in both papers of TN-SET.
