TN School Education Department Important Order – Dropout Students List!! Education plays an important role in the daily life of every individual. Therefore, the government is insisting that children should get an education from an early age. However, dropouts have been seen from time to time among school students. The government is taking steps to identify and rectify this.

Based on this, the Department of School Education has issued an order to send the details of students who have completed 12th standard and have not pursued higher education in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu alone, 8,588 students who completed 12th standard did not apply for any higher education. Taking note of this, the school education department has ordered to send the details of those students.
Further, it has been informed that it is planned to communicate with the students and give guidelines. For this purpose, the respective schools have been requested to send the details including EMIS number, educational district, marks obtained by them, phone numbers of the school students. The District Education Officers have been instructed to carry out these tasks and send the details to the Directorate.
