In this situation Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination announced 10th, 11th and 12th board exam date. This examination is announced to be conducted via offline mode.

Accordingly, the Department of Education announced that examination schedule for the board examination for 10th and 12th class students. It has been informed that the public examination will be held from May 5 to May 28 for the 12th class students and from May 9 to 31 for the 11th class students and from May 6 to 30 for the 10th class students.

During the Program Inauguration, TN Education Minister Anbil Mahesh said that, “Due to Covid-19 situation this year the board examination is to be conducted in May month. In upcoming days the board exams will be scheduled before May month. The May month will be allotted for Summer Holidays from upcoming days.
