It has been announced that only the papers which get more than 40 percent marks in this examination will be revised in the next part of the competitive examination. Now out of 50 questions asked in Medical Eligibility Test, 30 marks will be multiple choice and 20 marks will be matching questions. These procedures are advised to be followed in all subsequent examinations.

Also, in the two-stage examinations conducted by the Medical Recruitment Board, the mandatory Tamil paper will be conducted in Descriptive Type in the Main Examination, order mentioned. At the same time, it has been informed that in the Single stage Examination, the compulsory Tamil language qualification paper will be set in Objective type in Part ‘A’.
