Tamil Nadu Medical Recruitment Board(TN MRB) has released Notification for the post of Nurses(Sick Newborn Care Unit) & Nurse. TN MRB has 520 Nurses(SNCU) Vacancies & 2345 Nurses Vacancies.

Applications are invited only through online mode up to 12-03-2019 for the post of Nurse for Sick Newborn Care Unit.

Age Limit: Candidates Age Should be Minimum of 18 Years to Maximum of 57 Years as on 01-07-2019. For Age Relaxation Details Check Official Notification.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have acquired the Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a Government / Government recognized institution and permanently registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council on or before the date of the Notification. In addition, Candidate shall possess the following qualification :

• NURSES(Women) : Successful training for a period of not less than three years in General Nursing of men and women and for a period of not less than six months in Midwifery training in both cases to be undergone in an institution approved by the State Government.
• NURSES(MEN) :  (i) A successful training for a period of not less than three years in General Nursing in an institution approved by the State Government and (ii) Successful completion of training in Psychiatry for a period of six months after successful completion of training in General Nursing.

Pay Scale : Rs.14000/- per month

Selection Process: Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the Written Examination & Certificate Verification.

Scheme Of Examination(Objective Type):

• The question will be in the standard of Diploma level in Nursing. The question paper will be set in English only and will contain 200 objective type questions.
• There will be no negative mark for the wrong answer.
• There will be no oral Test (Interview) for the post.

Examination Fee:

• For SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH) – Rs. 350/-
• For Others  – Rs. 700/-
