TN Government Order to Appoint an Officer to Monitor “Ungal Thoguthiyil Mudhalvar” Programme: Mr. Stalin’s one of the key electoral promises is “Ungal Thoguthiyil Stalin”. This was get major attraction among people. To fulfill the electoral promise, recently Shilpa Prabhakar Satheesh has appointed as “Special Officer” to dispose these petitions within 100 days. “Ungal Thoguthiyil Mudhalvar” Programme:

Mr. Stalin’s one of the key electoral promises is “Ungal Thoguthiyil Stalin”. As per the promise, the petitions from the public will be resolved within 100 days. The TN CM Mr. Stalin has started to implement this promise as he said. As far, the Chief Minister handed over the keys of the petition boxes for all districts to the Special Officer at the secretariat. The Chief Minister said that the objective is to dispose of these petitions within 100 days. However, the State government has to turn its maximum focus on the prevention of Covid spread. “So, action will be taken against the petitions as fast as the government can and solutions will be found,” he added.

What Will Be Done?

As per the statement of CM, a separate department has been set up for the disposal of the petitions received from the public. The department should to take appropriate action on these petitions. These petitions will be segregated into three categories: those relating to infrastructure (roads, flyovers etc), those related to creation of social assets (like constructing schools, hospitals) and grievances of individuals. A separate website would be launched for updating the status of these petitions. As far as individuals’ grievances are concerned, the Chief Minister said action would be taken wherever possible and in case of unresolved issues, clear-cut reasons would be given to the applicants

TN Government Order:

Tamil Nadu government has ordered that a Liaison Officer be appointed to each department to monitor the decision taken on petitions received by the “Ungal Thoguthiyil Mudhalavar”. The order was issued by Chief Secretary V. Irayanbu. As per the official statement all petitions received by the department (“Ungal Thoguthiyil Mudhalavar”) in your constituency will be uploaded by the team which contains, Divisional Officer, Assistant Divisional Officers, Assistants and Typists. For this purpose, the team is advisable to use the Chief’s Help Center team for this. The source of funding can be obtained from the Department of Information Technology.
