Engineering Counselling Starts from August 25 – Announced by Higher Education Minister!! Tamil nadu government has announced the counselling for engineering courses will be started from 25th August. Among a lot of confuse Higher Education Minister Ponmudi announced that the engineering counselling for this academic year will start from August 25 to October 21.
Meanwhile, the general category counselling for arts and science courses also get started, the Higher Education Minister said. Before that Anna University has announced a new syllabus for engineering courses and it will be released on 18th August. To be mentioned that, the engineering curriculum is going to change after 20 years in Tamil nadu. Moreover, Tamil nadu higher education department also planned to conduct the counselling for engineering students after the announcement of NEET results.

Why because, after the announcement of result many students might be changed their courses from engineering to medicine. On considering this the government took a wise plan of postponing the counselling for this academic year. As per the official announcement, the counselling for the engineering courses will be starts from August 25 across the state.
