TN Higher Education Department Hiked Salary Amount – Know who will Get the Benefits? Generally, teachers working in government schools and colleges are paid a monthly salary as fixed by the government pay scale. Similarly, all the teachers working in the government arts and science colleges in Tamil Nadu get a salary fixed by the government.
However, computer instructors in government colleges are paid based on fees paid by the students. Accordingly, computer instructors are getting Rs.4,000 as a monthly consolidated pay. In this situation, the higher education department of the Tamil Nadu Government has issued notifications to increase the salary of computer instructors.
Accordingly, computer teachers working in government arts and science colleges will get Rs.10,000 as monthly consolidated pay. For this, the fee for computer students has been increased from Rs.700 to Rs.1,000. It has been announced that around 423 computer instructors are working in colleges in Tamil Nadu and they will be paid for 11 months in every academic year.
